    That one moment you actually came to the realization there is no God, no angels, no heaven…no safety net. It was for me too a slow development but I did have an “oh shit” moment. I wonder if you could share that moment and how did you cope with the realization of no afterlife.

    • How did I cope? Hmmmm.

      Well at first I was depressed and had to re-mourn all the friends and family who died. I came to the sudden realization that I would never see them again. That was hard. Now that they died, they’re gone forever.

      But the loss of an after life had little impact a strange impact on me…i don’t fear death. When I’m dead, I won’t even know I’m dead. There’s nothing you fear after death, you just cease to be. Currently right now I feel bad for the prospect that my family will suffer in my absence, but its strange. I fear living more than dying. I fear life more than death.
